Dilsha Perera, Sri Lanka - Winner of the President’s Prize
“ABE inspired me to be creative, independent and business-oriented. Now I am keen to be a manager, manage staff, think strategically and do research.”
ABE is a well-recognised business management qualification and a quick way to complete my Bachelors and Masters. I was late to start higher education, so I believe ABE is the most efficient way to complete my studies and succeed in my career. ABE has proven this to be true; it has developed my management skills, communication skills, marketing knowledge and strategic thinking with the completion of the Level 6 Diploma.
I studied ABE at Oxford College of Business, a reputed business school in Colombo.
The lecture panel at my college is awesome. They assure comprehensive syllabus coverage on time and they deliver. They maintain an outstanding and interpersonal relationship with students and encourage them to a higher grade by giving valuable study tips. The college doesn’t offer just business management qualifications it improves the career development of students by offering logical and challengeable opportunities.
I intend to complete the final year of my Bachelors in Business Administration and then go for a Masters. I am planning to start my career again within the next three months. I decided not to continue my career in the secretarial field because ABE inspired me to be creative, independent and business-oriented. Now I am keen to be a manager, manage staff, think strategically and do research.
The best thing about studying with ABE for me is that it changed my view to a strategic sight and developed my ambition to be a leader.
ABE improved my communication skills, marketing skills, people management skills, leadership skills, team work, and the most valuable skill I developed is the strategic thinking. The International Business Case Study unit developed my research skills immensely. It was a new experience for me and it helped me to gather information about companies worldwide.
My long-term plan is to be an entrepreneur by supporting my husband to develop our own family business. I can achieve it by gaining valuable experience, knowledge and skills by working for prestigious organisations. I believe that the knowledge and skills developed through ABE will surely support me to accomplish my future plans.
Edward Matengele, Malawi – Top Paper Award for Managerial Accounting
“In Malawi studying with ABE is highly regarded as it not only offers knowledge but practical experience through the various case studies in the study manuals.”
I completed my secondary education and later was accepted to the Malawi Polytechnic to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Technical Education.
In my second year of this programme I became very interested in business and economics, this compelled me to study Business Management with ABE during the weekends at the Malawi College of Accountancy.
I chose ABE because its syllabuses are up-to-date with a dynamic world. ABE also offered a wide variety of units which will widen my choice of programmes when I decide to further pursue my education.
In Malawi, studying with ABE is highly regarded as it not only offers knowledge but practical experience through the various case studies in the study manuals. After completing my ABE qualification I would like to work for a short while in order to gain some experience before pursuing a Masters degree in Economics or Business Administration.
With ABE, I have gained problem solving and critical thinking skills. The exams let you apply what you have learned instead of encouraging rote learning.
The awards given also constitute one of the best things about studying with ABE. I am very grateful for the tireless efforts of my Tutor, Mr S.G Mwalabu, without his assistance in Managerial Accounting I wouldn’t have scooped this award.

“I was attracted by the quality of international education for my higher studies and future. I wanted to follow a similar path and came across ABE. I found that ABE offered what I wanted.”
I come from a traditional Muslim family and grew up in a small village. I had my primary and higher education at a nearby English medium school. Then I joined the B School International, Kottakkal, to study the ABE Level 5 Diploma. Now I have completed Level 5 and I’m going on with Level 6.
When I spent my vacation abroad, I was attracted by the quality of international education for my higher studies and future. I wanted to follow a similar path and came across ABE. I found that ABE offered what I wanted.
The best thing about ABE is that they encourage practical thinking, rather than just theoretical knowledge, and they participate and listen to what we have to say about the things that we are studying.
I wish to set up my own company and help to lift up other people along the way and, one day, see my company in the Fortune 500 list.
I would like to thank ABE for helping me reach where I wanted to be and for honoring me with the Top Paper Award.
Charandeep Singh Panesar, Kenya – Top Paper Award for Introduction to Quantitative Methods
“ABE courses are very comprehensive and take almost half the amount of time that other similar courses require, but with the same, or an even larger, amount of knowledge. Studying with ABE has helped me understand how businesses operate, and allowed me to see business management from a different viewpoint.”
I joined ABE at Intel College, Nairobi, whilst under apprenticeship in business with my father.
I found that the ABE diploma is a very comprehensive and internationally recognised course that will help me establish a solid foundation to start a business and even pursue a Bachelors and Masters degree.
My immediate plans, after completing my ABE diploma, are to continue my apprenticeship with my father, then start up a business of my own, importing and distributing tools and workshop equipment.
ABE courses are very comprehensive and take almost half the amount of time that other similar courses require, but with the same, or an even larger, amount of knowledge. Studying with ABE has helped me understand how businesses operate, and allowed me to see business management from a different viewpoint.

I am studying with the Imperial School of Business and Science as a part-time student attending evening lessons and working during the day. Once I have completed my qualification, my plans are to pursue a career in hospitality. The best thing about studying with ABE is the amount of resources I have at my disposal, such as past question papers, suggested answers to past papers and the professionalism in general of ABE. ABE helps students find their potential and develop the skills needed to understand and pass examinations.
I have acquired many skills from studying with ABE, such as improved communications with business clients, and I have a better understanding of how businesses work and how they all differ. I also understand the different classes of tourists and how tourism works, not only in Africa, but in the rest of the world.
My long-term plans are to achieve my qualification with ABE and to work towards managing some of the top hotels in the world. I would also like to promote the tourism industry in my home country, Zimbabwe.

“The best thing about studying an ABE qualification is that the course content is manageable, the reading materials are easy to understand, and it is flexible - you still have time to have a little fun whilst studying.”
I am the mother of a two year old son and I work at Republic Bank Limited. I chose to study ABE at SITAL College because it wasn’t too time consuming and the cost of the course materials was within my budget.
Employers view ABE as a Continuous Professional Development program in which to acquire knowledge, skills and a qualification. After completion I plan to pursue the final year of a Bachelors Degree in Accountancy and Finance.
The best thing about studying an ABE qualification is that the course content is manageable, the reading materials are easy to understand, and it is flexible - you still have time to have a little fun whilst studying.
One of the major skills I have acquired is how to prioritise my life and cope with being a mother, and holding downa full-time job as well as being a student. It is something that will benefit me long after I have completed my studies. I have also become a more dedicated, hard-working, focused and result-oriented individual. From each module offered at the Level 5 I have gained a better appreciation of my job.
In the near future I hope to attain a top management post at the company I am currently employed by, or another well established company.

I am 19 years old. I have done my basic studies up to the 12th grade. After finishing, I decided to spend some quality time in Tanzania where I got the blessed opportunity to study an ABE qualification.
My father runs a language institute and a bilingual school. Coming from a family business background, I always wanted to enhance my knowledge in business management before launching myself in Early Childcare Education.
I received lots of positive feedback regarding ABE. My family and my father’s business people were very impressed with this course. I found it very comprehensive and easy to understand especially for a student like me who is a native French speaker. I am able to apply what I learnt in my father’s business.
My immediate plans are to continue further in Business Management before starting my Early Childcare Education course.

“Through ABE I have gained a better understanding of business, learned how to manage people, and learned to use my knowledge in real life situations. I plan to pursue a career in business management where I can use my knowledge and experience."
I am the eldest in a family of six currently working as an Assistant Administrative Officer at the Housing Development Corporation.
I came to know about ABE through Clique College which already has 36 ABE world Top Paper Prize winner titles. I am glad to join their Hall of fame.
ABE is well respected by both employers and the public as an internationally recognised professional qualification . It has a good reputation as a stepping stone to a successful career in business.
I chose this qualification for its numerous benefits and convenient class timings which enabled me to study while working. The programme depth, international recognition and ability to pursue a university bachelors convinced me further.
My objective is to move forward with an ABE Level 6 diploma and then to a degree. Thanks to ABE I can make it a reality while continuing my work and applying the theories I learn in real work scenarios.
Now I have the opportunity to obtain exemptions from a wide range of university degree programmes globally. Through ABE I have gained a better understanding of business, learnt how to manage people, and learnt to use my knowledge in real life situations. I plan to pursue a career in business management where I can use my knowledge and experience and someday run a company of my own.
Michael Jason Alexander, Trinidad and Tobago – Top Paper Award for Quantitative Methods for Business Management
“The best thing about studying with ABE, is that not only am I a part of a globally recognised organisation with thousands of students worldwide but ABE itself is always providing information and assistance. The response to any request for information has always been prompt and left me with a sense that ABE actually does care about me as a student.”
I am the happy husband of Dr. Patrice Plaza-Alexander and father to two lovely daughters. I work in Communications and Sales and have a passion for numbers and anything football related (more specifically Manchester United FC).
Having made a decision to gain the theoretical knowledge in marketing management to support my career goals, ABE allowed the flexibility necessary for a working student like me to pursue a high quality tertiary education.
I study at SITAL College. The public and employers identify ABE as a viable alternative to the traditional forms of education being offered by local universities. Graduates from the programme are rapidly gaining a reputation as being able to make an immediate impact for their employers and society. I’ve found that the course material is laid out by ABE in such a manner that the practical applications of marketing and marketing policies within the business environment are highlighted.
The best thing about studying with ABE, is that not only am I a part of a globally recognised organisation with thousands of students worldwide but ABE itself is always providing information and assistance. The response to any requests for information has always been prompt and left me with a sense that ABE actually does care about me as a student.
From studying with ABE I have gained a new appreciation for the various tools and policies required for the management of people and the resources required for the success of any organisation. My time management and studying skills have also improved through following the course outlines and learning outcomes. The latter, I believe, was critical to me achieving a Top Paper Award.
My plans for the future include using the knowledge gained in my studies to assist Caribbean businesses in the creation and/or expansion of new and existing markets for locally produced goods.
Fyson Elton, Malawi – Top Paper Award in Quantitative Methods for Business Management
“Many people in Malawi study with ABE. Employers see a change afterwards because the knowledge and skills we get increases our performance at work. The impression is so positive.”
I am the third of four children. Unfortunately we lost our parents and had nobody to look after us.
Social Welfare paid my school fees at secondary school level, but after this I was unable to go further because of money problems.
After three years of looking for a job, by the grace of God I found one in 2012. Now I am working for the Malawi Immigration Department. I had a passion to continue with my education and I decided to go further.
I chose to study with ABE because it is flexible in terms of payment. You can choose how many subjects to write depending on your pocket. Another reason is that ABE qualifications are accepted around the world. ABE also offer the best courses in the world. I study with PACT college here in Blantyre. PACT is one of the best colleges and has well qualified lecturers.
Many people in Malawi study with ABE. Employers see a change afterwards because the knowledge and skills we get increases our performance at work. The impression is so positive.
After completing my ABE qualification at Level 6, my plan is to continue up to degree level in Business Administration. The best thing about studying with ABE is that you can get a qualification within a short period of time compared to other professional bodies. My long-term plan is that after completing my education I will start my own business and use the knowledge and skills I have gained to run it.

“Studying with ABE has given me a competitive edge amongst colleagues in my department. It has boosted my confidence, enhanced my communication and listening skills and enabled me to gain an understanding of various areas in my workplace, increase efficiency and moreover add value for my employers.”
I am a self-motivated individual. I have a science background in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. After which, I pursued a Certification in Accountancy followed by the ABE Diploma Level 4 (Business Management). I work at Moneylink Bureau de Change under the General Manager.
Entering into the challenging world of business management, ABE equips you with the knowledge to compete with the best professionals in the industry. It provides you with necessary tools for a smooth understanding of the organisation as a whole, which is what employers look for in a successful candidate.
I enrolled myself at the A3 Institute of Professional Studies and intend to carry on my Level 5 Diploma at the same institution. Due to the rapid change in the business environment globally, ABE tailors its resources and materials to be able to manage volatile business environments effectively. Employers in Tanzania feel more comfortable and confident with candidates holding an ABE certificate. In addition, the general public feels more secure and overall this enhances consumer confidence in the market.
My immediate plans after completing my ABE qualification are to obtain a Masters Degree from a globally accredited university.
ABE gives you the ability to stand out from various business and finance professionals globally. Examination resources are easily accessible and specific to the examination structure. Any updates by ABE are immediately communicated to students via their member accounts without any delay.
Studying with ABE has given me a competitive edge amongst colleagues in my department. It has boosted my confidence, enhanced my communication and listening skills and enabled me to gain an understanding of various areas in my workplace, increase efficiency and moreover add value for my employers.

Shital Naik, Zambia – Top Paper Award in Introduction to Quantitative Methods
"I found ABE offered me the best option to study whilst working and managing my home. To be able to choose which exams I write as well as a good study manual were the only push I needed to start with ABE."
My family migrated to Zambia from India in the late 70's. I am the youngest in a family of four and though our upbringing was hard, my parents made the most of what they had and tried to give us the best possible start in life. One of my late father's constant reminders was that we are never too old to learn. Although life got in the way, I managed to restart my studies by way of ABE. I am currently employed and, with a degree, I hope to give my child a better start to life as my parents did for me.
A friend of mine told me about ABE after I was unable to find a local place of study that would be flexible enough to suit my needs. Through the website, I found ABE offered me the best option to study whilst working and managing my home. To be able to choose which exams I write as well as a good study manual were the only push I needed to start with ABE.
I study at every opportune moment I get, in my own time and space. I self-study using every resource I can procure.
ABE is widely known in Zambia and a lot of employers are keen to take on newly qualified members. A lot of our education is based on the UK system so it is not surprising that ABE is accepted. I wish to continue up to Level 7 after which I will apply to a recognised university that will allow me to study in a similar manner.
The best thing about studying with ABE is the flexibility it allows me. With my busy lifestyle, it is imperative that I only take on what I can manage and as such I have split sitting my exams in two sessions (the June exams and then in December) so that I can comprehensively understand each subject matter before moving on the next.
I have gained an important skill with ABE: time management. I have managed to divide my time with my family and friends as well as my hobbies and then leave enough time to study. I am also learning a lot about Business Management and how it can help get the most out of employees.
I wish to get further in my current employment in order to better provide for my daughter's future. I have learnt that it is important to finish studies while one can and I hope to get the highest achievement in order to set the best possible example for her.
Madushika Jeevani Perera, Sri Lanka – Top Paper Award in Managing the Customer Relationship

I am the only child in my family, born to the most loveable and dedicated parents namely Marshal Alex Perera & Beatrice Manel Perera. Currently, I am working at Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC, Colombo.
I chose ABE because it is a not-for-profit organisation which always seeks to offer value along with the best opportunities for its students across the world, while maintaining the standards of its qualifications.
I am impressed by the quality of ABE qualifications, they are accredited by Ofqual, as well as equivalent bodies worldwide. ABE strengthens me not only by developing my professional life but also by leading me to a university degree which will help me to establish my identity in the current global market. It offers a flexible structure and the prestigious recognition given to me as an Associate Member and ensures my business related practical knowledge and skills as well.
I studied my ABE Course at London Business School, Colombo. The institute has a history of 25 years and now it is a market leader in professional education in Sri Lanka. It provides high quality courses along with well qualified lecturers such as Mr.Shazly Oowise, Mr. Irfan and the dedicated staff including Mr.Chinthaka Wijerathne, Assistant Manager-Student Liaison. The current management, especially the Chairman/Managing Director Mr Priyantha Kannangara and the CEO, Mrs.Dilini Gunasekara lead the institute towards success by creating a conducive environment for the students to enhance their knowledge in their chosen fields.
ABE was established in 1988 in Sri Lanka has been providing career oriented students to the nation with the necessary business and management qualifications. It is evident that modern students have a thirst for seeking accurate business knowledge. ABE is a well-known and well-recognised professional qualification in Sri Lanka as it is a quicker, affordable pathway to complete a degree programme.
I am planning to start up my “top up” degree at a reputed foreign university immediately. In the meantime, I would like to serve my institute as a lecturer and to enlighten hundreds of students with the knowledge I have gained from ABE.
ABE is a well-structured professional body which allows students to go in search of knowledge in a broad way. ABE helped me to build my self-confidence, enhance my leadership skills, awaken my curiosity for learning and develop my interaction and teamwork skills. During my ABE experience, I was prepared to face the global market fearlessly and now I am proud to say that I am a part of this prestigious professional body.
As a successful ABE student, I want to serve in a well reputed multinational company and by being a good leader, hope to become a Chief Executive Officer or in other words to achieve the highest position in the organisation in order to complete the full circle of professional life and to render my service to society from my heart & soul.

“ABE provides plentiful study resources and extra material such as academic journals to enhance your knowledge. ABE also focuses on enhancing your study skills which can be useful not only for ABE courses but future higher studies as well.”
I have been working at the High Court since 2008 as a Computer Technician. I completed a Diploma in IT while working there. Back then higher studies were not as important but now it’s something you must have to get a decent job. So I decided to go for higher studies in business as I plan to build my future career in business.>
I chose ABE because it is a well-known worldwide certification and doing ABE courses gives a flexible gateway to attain a Bachelors and MBA. It is also a known professional body among Maldivian employers and general public.
After completion of Level 5 Diploma, which I am doing now, I will immediately start Level 6. After completing Level 6, I am hoping to top up to Bachelors in Business Management.
I have found ABE provides plentiful study resources and extra material such as academic journals to enhance your knowledge. ABE also focuses on enhancing your study skills which can be useful not only for ABE courses but future higher studies as well.
I have gained good communication skills, learnt how to work efficiently in groups and individually and the best ways to motivate others and build good team spirit. Long term I plan to work at a managerial level in a business.

“I have learnt so much from this course that can help me in day to day life.”
I was a science student. After I finished my O levels, I was inspired by my sister to join the ABE course at the Financial Training Centre.
The ABE course is very much appreciated by people over here because of its flexibility and content. Also the teachers are very well trained.
The best thing about studying with ABE is that the courses do not take a long period of time to complete and the content is also not very difficult to understand.
I really appreciate being part of the ABE course of diploma Level 4.
Thanzeel Thayyil, India – Top Paper Award in Quantitative Methods for Business Management
"I feel that as ABE education is more skill based, this kind of learning will help me in my career with taking quick decisions as well as acquiring an advanced position."
I was excited when I heard that I had achieved top paper award in Quantitative Methods for Business Management. As this is my second award I am dedicating it to my beloved father and my mentors namely Abdul Majeed and Abdul Nazer.
When I had completed my higher level education I became aware of the fact that to succeed in this competitive world it is necessary to gain global knowledge. While researching for colleges for my higher education I found ABE strikingly different from other courses.
The fact that it gave additional skills and knowledge made me choose ABE to further my studies. For pursing international education I found that The B School International was the best Indian institution for providing foreign education. ABE education being a globally recognised one, is well known among employers as well as the public. They accept ABE education as a most qualified one.
After completing Level 6 I would like to enter the corporate field for getting real work experience. I intend to come back to ABE, to do the Level 7 qualification. I feel that as ABE education is more skill based, this kind of learning will help me in my career with taking quick decisions as well as acquiring an advanced position. Through ABE education I hope to easily achieve my dream.
I sincerely thank ABE. I also want to thank especially the complete B School Team for everything they did to help me succeed . Having them in my corner really made a difference. They go that extra mile for the students and I don’t want their dedication to go unnoticed.
Moe Thin Cho, Myanmar - Top Paper Award in Quantitative Methods for Business Management
“ABE is well known in Myanmar. ABE graduates are highly demanded by not only local business giants, but also multinational corporations in Myanmar. If you are an ABE diploma holder, you are top in the mind of the employers”.
I am now studying at the Institute of Medicine, Yangon. Both of my parents are university teachers, my father is a physics professor and my mum is a lecturer in mathematics. I chose ABE because it has a good reputation worldwide and it is not only highly international, but also a recognised institution by many universities.
I studied my ABE course at EVER UP HUMAN RESOURCES. ABE is well known in Myanmar. ABE graduates are highly demanded by not only local business giants but also multinational corporations in Myanmar. If you are an ABE diploma holder, you are top in the mind of the employers.
After I have completed my ABE qualifications, my immediate plan is to continue further studies at one of the UK universities. The best thing about studying ABE qualifications is that it simply allows me to keep ahead of others. It is said that the way to be successful in business is always to stay one jump ahead of your potential competitors and to keep growing your key competencies. If one is smart and hardworking, all these are available from ABE.
Studying with ABE, I get a tremendous amount of advantages. I have high confidence in decision making both in business and my private life. I feel that whatever I think, speak, do, I have a strategic perspective. Nowadays, a skill that you learn only for job is useless; it should instead be concerned with sustainable growth. For me ABE is embedded in sustainability.
I am, right now, studying to become a medical doctor. My long-term career plan is to become a paediatrician and to master in Hospital Management on a large scale.
Tzaddi Franklin, Guyana – Top Paper Award in Introduction to Quantitative Methods
“A lot of study materials were provided to me by ABE to ensure my success and the success of others all over the world. This gives me a feeling that ABE genuinely cares for my well-being and my future.”
I live with my mother, grandmother and my sister. I work for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the Advancing Partners & Communities Guyana Project. Our organisation provides technical assistance to Non-Governmental Organisations and facilitates community based programmes within the health sector.
I chose ABE because it is internationally recognised and as such it gives me a competitive advantage in the workforce locally. My workmates and friends introduced me to the programme.
I attend the Accountancy Training Center situated in Georgetown. Guyana is a developing country and many students out of high school chose the course because of its accreditation. Employers have a regard for persons taking this course and thus use the course as a way to sift potential employees.
I would love to gain more experience in the business community with the qualifications I have gained. A lot of study materials were provided to me by ABE to ensure my success and the success of others all over the world. This gives me a feeling that ABE genuinely cares for my well-being and my future.
The skills that I have gained the most from studying ABE are analytic skills. I would love to work someday directly with USAID in a higher capacity and hopefully my skills and ability to solve most problems thrown at me would take the organisation to another level.
Peter Byrne, Ireland – Top Paper Award in Personnel Administration
“I plan to use the knowledge that I have gained from this qualification to improve my organisation's Human Resources practices and policies and to make it an even better place to work.”
I have been living in Limerick for about 20 years. I am married with two children and work for a Civil Engineering company called Roadbridge. My job is within the Quality & Environmental Department and I have steadily built up my qualifications over the past few years by studying at night.
I had been looking around for a Human Resources course as I felt that it was an area where my company had not progressed as well as in other areas. I spotted an advertisement from Limerick City College in a local paper. I made a few enquiries and was happy to find that the course was scheduled to run one night a week, which suited my work schedule.
To me the big draw for this course was that it was offered by Limerick City College, which has a good reputation for providing top quality recognised courses. After beginning the course, I found myself utilising the membership resources available on the ABE website.
I plan to use the knowledge that I have gained from this qualification to improve my organisation's Human Resources practices and policies and to make it an even better place to work.
I have to travel quite a bit with my job, so the fact that the course was scheduled to run one night a week meant that I could plan my travel around this, whereas if the course was two nights a week, I would have had great difficulty in dedicating the time to it. I have completed distance learning courses in the past, but wanted to study in a classroom setting as I feel that more can be learnt from this approach and from fellow students, so again ABE and Limerick City College suited me perfectly.
Completing the course has given me more confidence in my role and this accolade is a great honour for me. It was also interesting to learn that a lot of the systems I have tried to implement in my own company would be considered best practice, so this was a further vindication of my earlier efforts. I found the course content very informative and enjoyable to learn, and I have gained valuable insights from the course tutor and students into how different businesses operate.
My long-term career plans are to continue to grow within my role and contribute to the success of Roadbridge. I enjoy expanding my knowledge base, so will probably continue studying at some stage in the future as well.
Reshma Yusufali Mohamedali, Kenya – Top Paper Award in Introduction to Accounting
“The best thing about studying with ABE is that it provides all materials needed online. It has equipped me with very practical skills and has made me gain the confidence to manage a business.”
I come from Mombasa and am a mother to two young girls. I thank my parents, husband and my girls for their support and confidence in me. I do designing and tailoring from home.
On getting an offer to manage a shop, I needed to get managerial skills which made me choose ABE at Yaris Institute of Information and Business Studies, Mombasa. Flexible timings and a friendly environment at Yaris were very encouraging especially as I went back to books many years after completing high school.
ABE certificates are well recognised in my country. My immediate plan is to start up and manage the new business that I have been offered and continue my studies with ABE to further levels.
The best thing about studying with ABE is that it provides all materials needed online. It has equipped me with very practical skills and has made me gain the confidence to manage a business. I like to teach and I wish I could join ABE and be a lecturer in the future.
Miss Mariam Ibrahim Abdulla, Tanzania – Top Paper Award in Introduction to Quantitative Methods
“I had wonderful experience, gained a lot of skills and completed successfully my ABE Diploma Level 4 journey.”
I have a sister and a brother. My sister is qualified in ABE (Business Management) and my brother is a schoolboy currently in form 3. My father is a businessman and my mother is a housewife.
In July (2014) I started ABE Diploma Level 4 at Financial Training Centre. I chose to study ABE because it gives opportunity to develop my knowledge of business management topics and grow in competence.
I also chose ABE because it can act as a low cost university progression route. In Dar Es Salaam, most colleges offer ABE therefore it is convenient for me. I get access to comprehensive support and information from the social network (online) and also from written magazines. Plus ABE qualifications are recognised worldwide.
In Tanzania, most people are opening small firms and running their own businesses so they encourage youngsters to opt for business management to be able to expand their family business.
Employers also need people who are qualified in ABE so their business can flourish in the coming years and have a bright future.
I would like to continue with my ABE studies by doing next level. I would like to be somebody in life, have status and earn recognition.
The best thing about studying with ABE is it provides support to all its members so we are always updated. ABE also provides benefits to all its members such as past papers and ABE study manuals.
I have gained a lot from studying with ABE. I gained some ideas of starting and running a business after I complete my ABE diploma. I learnt new things especially from a particular subject called Introduction to Business (IB).
I had a wonderful experience, gained a lot of skills and completed successfully my ABE Diploma Level 4 journey.
I have no career plans yet but thinking of working so as to earn job experience as well as continue with my ABE studies.
Melissa Yacub, Trinidad and Tobago – Top Paper Award in Quantitative Methods for Business Management
"Qualifications from ABE will enable me to be an asset to any corporation. Employers look favourably upon ABE qualifications because they believe that persons with ABE accreditation are potential assets to their respective organisations and hire them without hesitation."
I have successfully completed my college education and I am currently pursuing the Business Management Pathway with the School of Business and Computer Science in San Fernando. Presently I am employed with The Ministry of Education as a Business Operations Assistant.
My mother is a retired Primary School Teacher and my father a retired Cooperative Officer. For recreation I enjoy travelling, cooking and listening to music. As I have made this mark in life first and foremost I would like to give thanks to my lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me the tenacity to acquire such an achievement because I believe all things are possible with Him.
I can confidently say that this type of strength is evident from the example and lifestyle of my parents. It would be remiss of me if I do not express my appreciation and gratitude to my lecturer, Mr. Karmalain Manohar who was also instrumental in helping me gain this great achievement.
I chose to study with ABE because it is deemed one of the most reputable examination bodies that is internationally accredited. Qualifications from ABE will enable me to be an asset to any corporation.
The number of graduates to date are in theirtens of thousands and this is testament to the fact that the public holds ABE programmes in high regard. Employers look favourably upon ABE qualifications because they believe that persons with ABE accreditation are potential assets to their respective organisations and hire them without hesitation.
On completion of this programme, I am looking forward to being gainfully employed with an established corporation. That will enable me to use the knowledge and skills that I have acquired towards achieving the goals of the company.
Apart from being one of the most reputable organisations in the world, another factor that sets this programme apart from all other programmes is that students are certified progressively thereby giving them the opportunity to serve at higher brackets in the corporate environment.
ABE has enabled me to acquire a vast knowledge of what Business Management encompasses. I have learnt how to increase my interpersonal and analytical skills as well as how to apply critical thinking and solving problems efficiently and effectively in the workplace.
I see myself as the Managing Director of my own business. I plan on enhancing my Masters degree to assist in the growth and development of the organisation.
Boitumelo Batlhabanye, Botswana – Top Paper Award in Personnel Administration (NQF)
“ABE fully support its students in every way possible, once you are a member you have access to all the resources needed to successfully complete the course.”
I was born in Kalamare Village in Central District, Botswana and successfully completed my Bachelors Degree in 2013 at University of Botswana. Since January 2014, I am engaged on an internship basis as a Social Welfare Officer in Mahalapye .
I found out that ABE offers the best quality education, and will give me the exact opportunity am looking for to pursue and broaden my knowledge and experience in my studies. I decided to study in Mahalapye Brigade which was convenient and accessible to me. ABE offers great opportunities, more especially to those who do not have time to study during the day.
At the moment I am looking for finances to further my studies. My wish is to continue with ABE from where I am to the final level, or even at some point do another course after finishing HRM still with ABE. ABE fully support its students in every way possible, once you are a member you have access to all the resources needed to successfully complete the course.
Human Resource Management is a very interesting course to do; it opens up someone’s mind that has interest in working well with other people, developing communication skills, managing working relations and other crucial skills and knowledge aimed at high work productivity. I want different qualifications with variety of programmes to do and fit anywhere in the work sphere.
Adrian Magwembere, Malawi – Top Paper Award in Quantitative Methods for Business Management
“The skills that I have gained from studying with ABE are: accounting, marketing and communication just to mention a few. With these skills I am confident that I can venture into any business or get employed even if I am not yet through with the course.”
I live with my family: my parents; Pearson and Sandra and I have four brothers, James, Clifford, George and Maxwell. I enrolled at Management Development Centre in 2014 where I am doing my ABE Diploma in Business Management.
I choose to study with ABE because it is well recognised globally and has a good impression with the both the public and employers in my country. It also provides a person with good and applicable business and management skills.
I am currently studying the ABE course at the University of Malawi Management Development Centre in Blantyre.
After I have completed my ABE qualification, I would like to do a Bachelors degree in business at the University of Malawi, the polytechnic or any recognised and accredited body.
The best thing about studying with ABE is that you obtain a global recognised certificate and you acquire skills that can help you start up and manage your own Business. If you are employed, you perform to the best interest of the employer.
The skills that I have gained from studying with ABE are: accounting, marketing and communication just to mention a few. With these skills I am confident that I can venture into any business or get employed even if I am not yet through with the course.
My long-term plans are to finish my qualification with ABE up to Level 7 Diploma and obtain a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and after some time to do my masters degree.
Malissa Bhagwandeen, Guyana – Top Paper Award in Introduction to Quantitative Methods
“I look forward to completing the other lessons in this course to accomplish my goals.”
I never thought I would've gotten this honour. I am a single mom with two wonderful kids ages four and three. They are my motivation. I wanted to be able to provide a better life for my kids and that's what motivated me to study for ABE qualifications.
I am a student at Nations University in Guyana, and I owe my success to my lecturer Mr. Khan for being so understanding and patient. I look forward to completing the other lessons in this course to accomplish my goals.
Tinashe Mazorodze, Botswana – Top Paper Award in Introduction to Cost and Management Accounting (NQF)
"Thank you for the quality education you are providing me with. I know it will make me a master of commerce."
I am a Zimbabwean staying in Botswana and ABE has allowed me to realise an opportunity to educate myself in all the fields of commerce. I am operating an animal husbandry project in Zimbabwe. I want to produce and process meats for the national market as Zimbabwe has a large vacuum due to a long economic downturn.
I am keen to venture into fast food trailers and hospitality, hence your programmes will allow me to have a full vantage point on my financial, human and marketing resources. I intend to carry on with ABE until I have the highest qualification in each programme. Thank you for the quality education you are providing me with. I know it will make me a master of commerce.
